Plaid Daddy

"The Knot" Magazine took a poll of the thousands of weddings around New England and as a result the approach for the modern couple was stapled and Plaid Daddy stood tall receiving a plaque for Best of Reception Bands Category 2010! The Plaid Daddy Band, comprised of talented musicians networking throughout the Berklee College of Music has now performed over 2,000 shows since it's inception in the year 2000. Colleges, Corporate, Modern-Style weddings (with some great classics thrown in the mix), with professionalism and experience. Primarily starting as a nightclub band, the Band Leader, Jim, started getting calls from couples that had seen them live and thought they would be perfect for their wedding. The calls kept coming and in only two years after the start of Plaid Daddy...This became Jim's full-time career. Being the youngest of Eleven children it seemed only natural to bring the huge variety of music he was hearing from his sibling's bedrooms to a live stage. Now with the experience of 8 years and a fan base around New England, the increased demand for private shows has been making the public performances more of a rarity, but Plaid Daddy still likes to pop up in Providence, Boston, Portland, Cape Cod, Newport and other regions throughout the year to stay as cutting edge as their reputation. Walt Disney World Florida, recently offered Plaid Daddy an extended contract~ Jim was honored and kindly declined stating how the atmosphere of the Plaid Daddy shows were flourishing around New England. Then Plaid Daddy was offered a contract in Australia in the midst of an amazing 2010 year~
