Description

With a great dance mix of blues rock, classic rock, R&B, & oldies, Mere Mortals is one of the Sacramento area's best party bands.

Rocking Sacramento since 1999, this high energy four piece band features an excellent blend of talent and experience.
With optional talented special guests that can be added: a sax player, an electric violinist, a 17 year old harmonica player, & more, Mere Mortals always offers great, memorable performances.
Their usual line up is a 4 piece band without sax, but they have 4 band options for you to choose from:
5 piece - including saxophone,
4 piece - without sax,
3 piece - 'unplugged' version (without drums),
2 piece - 'unplugged' version (without drums).

The music they play can vary, depending on what you want to hear. They have their own complete PA & lighting system. They can also play music from CD's or ipods/mp3 players through their system while they're not playing.

With over 100 songs to choose from, their song list is tailored to the many different gigs they play. Mere Mortals has been featured in Sacramento Magazine, on Friday Night Live, and on the Sacramento Magazine TV Show. They play at private events, parties, weddings, and venues in the Sacramento and Northern California area.

Feedback

  • Very accomidating and great with the crowd. Love the energy. -- Andy W, Sparks, NV, 10/30/2010
  • The lead singer Mark was fantastic on the harmonica and also great with interacting with the crowd. He and his drummer Kim were extremely friendly and easy going. We were able to keep the party rolling just at our speed. It started as soft background music and after the party was ready for more we upted to dance music at a club loudness. So it was a perfect night all around. What more could one want? -- Donna M, Rescue, CA, 8/7/2010
