Why 1st Generation Band? Well, we are the WINNERS of TWO of Gig-MASTERS'S 2011 & 2012 Awards ( GOLDEN BEST BAND AWARD and The RISING 5 STAR AWARD for being the TOP Booked Motown Band). WOW! What an accomplishment 2 years in a row!!! 1st Generation knows how to keep em on the dance floor all night long!! We are also known as "Da ROCK-IT-SHIP" because the dance floor is always shaking and moving like it's about to take off!!! Our band includes the awesome vocalist Dennis L. Taylor, the Nephew of the "Legendary Singer Johnnie Taylor". His style is like Lionel Richie of The Commodores and Marvin Gaye.
Merging all of this with the Electrifying strong voice of our female vocalist Reci Reign, her diverse vocal style is in the likes of Tina Turner and Diana Ross. She sang the National Anthem for the Boxing Assoc/ESPN and for The Atlanta Hawks @ Atlanta's Phillips Arena. Reci also performs with the all-girl recording group Klymaxx.
1st Generation provides a wide variety of musical entertainment. Our diverse repertoire is a mixture of 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's, and 'TODAY's TOP 40 HITS'; you, will experience all of this within the same night… which is a breath of fresh air. We don't put limits on what we can do.

"First Generation,
Wow! What a BLAST we had at our outdoor wedding reception on 10.13.2012! Morris was so very accommodating and prompt from the start. We worked together to come up with the perfect songlist! Everyone LOVED the band and we had so many guest dancing all night! We (the bride and a few bridesmaids) were even spotted dancing on stage once or twice. ;-)
I look forward to booking 1st generating in the future! So many of my friends (future brides!) loved the band and I am hoping they will use them as well!

was one of the nicest gentleman I've ever worked with. His band members were so polite
and respectful, they accommodated our every need and request. They actually learned two new songs and let the bride (my daughter) and my son sing with the band.
The crowd from age 86 to 10 months old loved the energy and mood 1st Generation created. Everyone complimented them throughout the night.

"This was my third event using the 1st Generation Band and each time it seems to get better. For this lavish wedding, they provided a keyboard player and a soloist for the ceremony a jazz trio for cocktail hour and a ten piece band for the reception. 1st Generation Band arrived on time, setup on time and met our every request and kept my guests on the dance floor. The leader of the band couldn’t be any nicer or any more accommodating. He was available for every conference call requested, promptly replied to emails and very knowledgeable and up to date with his music catalog. I can’t recommend this band enough!!!!"

"there are two vital ingredients to a great party; the music and the booze...our parents supplied the booze, so it was up to ueb to supply music commensurate with our expectations...and did they ever...they brought the house down...everybody, to a man, loved them...we are very fickle with our music and peppered them with special request after special request and they just rocked...the dane floor was jumping all night, which is exactly what we wanted...our only regret is they are based in atlanta and we live in new york...hire this band, you will not be disappointed!"

"UEB was incredible. They were friendly, professional, and reliable. They accommodated my request to start the evening with jazz standards and then to play dance music later in the evening. The performance was outstanding! Great stage presence, awesome sound. Our guests loved them. There was a lot of dancing, even from some guests I wasn't expecting to see on the dance floor! Throughout the evening, people made it a point to tell us what a great band we had hired, and how much they were enjoying the music. My fiance said, "I knew you had hired a great band, but they still managed to exceed my expectations!" I would recommend UEB to anyone!"
