Our band include the awesome vocal of Dennis L. Taylor, the Nephew of the "Legendary Singer Johnnie Taylor". He has performed with MC Lyte, Mint Condition, Avant & Slave. He also brings experience of singing background with Monica and Peabo Bryson. His style ranges from Al Green to Marvin Gaye, from R. Kelly to D'Angelo. The R&B industry has some of the most successful talented male singers in the world, and here is a chance to experience another one for yourself.
Merging all of this with the Electrifying strong voice of Kimmie "D" who reminds you of Mary J. Blige, Chaka Khan, and Diana Ross all wrapped up into one with her powerful sound. All we can say is WOW !! She has toured and sang background with Blues Singer "Sir Charles", opened for Morris Day & The Time, Lakeside , Slave, performed on stage with Nicki Howard, and also performed on the heart throbbing "Apollo Show". As you can see above, adding these two with the rest of our posse "Ain't No Stopping Us!" As we like to toot our own horn by stating, we're - "Nothing But Pure Experience."

- 1st Generation Band is one of the best bands we have ever hired for a corporate event! They are talented, energetic, fun, interactive, and can get the crowd engaged in the music. and respectful, they accommodated our every need and request. They actually learned two new songs and let the bride (my daughter) and my son sing with the band.
The crowd from age 86 to 10 months old loved the energy and mood 1st Generation created. Everyone complimented them throughout the night.

- This was my third event using the 1st Generation Band and each time it seems to get better. For this lavish wedding, they provided a keyboard player and a soloist for the ceremony a jazz trio for cocktail hour and a ten piece band for the reception. 1st Generation Band arrived on time, setup on time and met our every request and kept my guests on the dance floor. The leader of the band couldn’t be any nicer or any more accommodating. He was available for every conference call requested, promptly replied to emails and very knowledgeable and up to date with his music catalog. - At the Blase` Formal Event UEB exceeded my expectation with their diversity of performance with their smooth jazz and popping R&B sounds. I was most impressed with their personal dress appearance and professionalism. Mr. Drane showed personal attention to our guest during their break time. A guest from DC area said the band was awesome. Another from Mathews, NC said I got to have UEB at my next function in 2012. Guests from Mississippi and Alabama said they were simply off the chain. - My experience with Ueb Band was top notch! Prior to the event Mr. Drane and I spoke a few times to make sure all of my requests were being addressed.
Our guest and the honoree of the party, were extremely pleased and overjoyed with the performance of the ENTIRE band.

- UEB was incredible. They were friendly, professional, and reliable. They accommodated my request to start the evening with jazz standards and then to play dance music later in the evening. The performance was outstanding! Great stage presence, awesome sound. Our guests loved them. There was a lot of dancing, even from some guests I wasn't expecting to see on the dance floor! Throughout the evening, people made it a point to tell us what a great band we had hired, and how much they were enjoying the music.
