Doc Reed/Rick Hudson Country Band from Washington, DC

Doc Reed has been singing and playing guitar before live audiences for over 40 years.His greatest pleasure is watching audiences enjoy the music. His years of professional experience on stage includes playing with the late Danny Gatton and performing before every age group form the young to the young at heart. His repertoire is as diversified as his audience whether from early American Standards by Steven Foster and Cole Porter to Elvis to Country artist to Van Morrison. Doc has several posts on youtube to enjoy from his early days and CD's from those times. Rick Hudson is from Virginia Beach and has played the beach music sound since he was in High School playing with bands like the Aliens and the occasionally the Rhondels . Rick is a diversified musician playing Hammond Keyboards and Guitar . Rick sings beach soul and country songs as well as American Standards both as a lead vocalist and harmonies with Doc. Together Doc and Rick play a full sound duo but also bring other artist occasionally to make a full band sound with drums and bass and female vocalists. With an outdoor venue system capable of 5000 watts of power to a small quiet dinner party Doc and Rick can do it all.
