Mark Anthony ~ Country Artist Country Band from Sacramento, CA

Mark Anthony is new to the country scene, however, not new to music and performing. Mark has had an exceptional career touring and performing across the world as; believe it or not one of the top Elvis Tribute Artist's in the world. While winning multiple awards and highly regarded and recognized by even Elvis Presley Enterprises for his outstanding work. Mark is originally from Adelaide, Australia but spends a lot of time on the road while touring in the United States, UK, and Canada. Mark has always had a deep love of Heritage Country Music and has decided it is time to act on that love and take this next step in his career. Mark has been writing songs for several years now and when a great opportunity presented itself the writing was on the wall. Mark has recently signed a recording contract with Blue Crystal Records and we are excited to say he is currently working on his first country album. This first project will be mixed with some of Mark's own songs along with some great old country standards that have influenced Mark over the years along with a few surprises. “I am excited to venture out into what I have dreamed of doing my entire life. From the time I could walk I have had a diverse musical taste, some of my earliest influences have been Elvis Presley, Hank Williams Sr., Dean Martin, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, George Strait, Vince Gill, Bruce Springsteen. Having said that, I feel I have had great influences and by just listening to their incredible contributions and trying to develop my own style, I hope you like what I have come up with. I am very excited about letting you all hear the work and can't wait to get on the road and tour. We are about to release the first 4 songs recorded for this project on an EP to give everyone a taste of what will be coming. The release is scheduled to be out in CD form as well as digitally by May 2014. Currently I am in the studio finishing up the album “He Talked about Memphis” to be released later in the year 2014 and very excited for the release. I think it brings a great new element to traditional country with a little personal twist of my favorite style of all of my hero's combined”. Mark is very excited about the prospects of a full tour in the near future with this new solo venture and hoping to be in a town near you soon. He is an amazing talent, artist and entertainer and his raw performances are captivating, his live acts are simply dynamic and he knows how to draw a crowd in and knows how to capture an audience and keep them entertained.
