That is a direct quote from a reporter from the Los Banos Newspaper in a story about the show DAVE RUSSELL, put on to a huge crowd at the Merced county Fair. This is not the first time this country singer from North Carolina has been given such a great review.
Dave Russell is a "Down home, good ole' boy from North Carolina" who has toured the country performing sold out shows in Nashville, San Antonio, Reno, Biloxi, and all over California. He is now based out of Sacramento, CA loving the sun, fun and making music with his backing band. The combination of Dave's Southern Inspired, born and bred, "Country-fied" voice, along with fantastic musicians, will have you up on your feet, diggin' the beat, out on the floor and screamin' for more!!
Dave has just recently signed with Nashville Record Label Cupit Records, under development by multi award winning producer, Jerry Cupit.

"Mr. Russell and his band members took time to talk with us and it did not take the time away from the band performing. They are all very nice people. My nephew plays drums for different bands off and on and they let him go on stage and play a couple songs with them. Everyone commented on how good the band was and how much fun it was. I definitely made the right choice by going with the Dave Russell Band. He has the deepest, sexiest voice in some of those songs!!!!!"

They arrived on time and came early to set-up and even view the venue before the date. There is a genuine concern for pleasing the guests and great customer engagement. "I want you to know how pleased we were with the Dave Russell Band.
They arrived in plenty of time to be set up
Checked with us about what we wanted to hear
Checked with us during breaks to make sure sound level etc was okay
Played a great selection of music that was something for everybody
And packed up and went home.
I would definitely hire them again - I tried for another date that night but they were already booked. Several people in the audience talked to them about playing at their events in the future also. This is a band I would highly recommend.
