Part history and part mystery the Exhibit opens with the tale of these legendary creatures. Onlookers will hear the real life past and the up to date facts. You will learn the true story about how mermaids became the embodiment of beauty, appearing in every culture across the globe and through time and hear about some of the interactions they had with humans. We also will reveal what we have learned today, from the different sub-species, to mermaid habits and habitats, to diet and social behaviors. While the Exhibit curator speaks, you will have the opportuntity to witness one of our live mermaids swimming freely in our large tank. You can see, in person, some of their behaviors and characteristics as well as possibly interact with these little known aqautic creatures.
