“It's Funny Now” – STAND-UP COMEDY

Rik has 20+ yrs experience as a clean comedian. Sit back and relax as he takes you on a fun filled ride through life's experiences and adventures. This speech starts with a bang!
Imagine your attendees surprised by America's Favorite Deputy blowing a whistle as he enters the conference room. Next, he pulls out a few “citations” that he has written up on members of your group. The group belly laughs as the “harmless offenses” are revealed. The exercises reinforce the three keys until each group of employees develops a common base for success.
This workshop is led by Rik and former members of national touring improv troupe Midwest Comedy Tool & Die.

An outspoken speaker, clueless and hilarious
The audience thinks they are about to be addressed by a motivational speaker who is an expert on a topic (you get to pick). Rik comes in as a character and begins a speech which seems to be on target. Then, slowly the audience realizes he is an imposter. Facts, figures and philosophies are way off base. Once everyone is in on the joke, Rik steps out of character to deliver his stand-up comedy show. In the past Rik has appeared as:
* an expert on Lean Six Sigma,
* a speaker who gives the right speech but in the wrong banquet room,
* a speaker on “focus” who can't seem to pull it all together,
* an undercover military figure who has tracked an employee's career,
and more. You get to play a role in picking the topic and character. Rik does the rest!
