Description
Rick March was born and raised in Chicago he has been slinging barbs and wisecracks since he was born. His first words were to the doctor in the delivery room, 'Go bleep yourself, its cold out here!' A steady diet of donuts and self-loathing combined with a passion for making people laugh, Cranky Ricky has been described as 'Don Rickles on Steroids'.
He has performed at clubs and parties across the country and has contributed to MAD Magazine. The founder of Best Comedy Roasts and its 'Roastmaster', Ricky leads the team into all of its roasting adventures.
Rick March or Aric, to the people whom he owes money to, has always been a wise guy (not Soprano style either).
When kids watched cartoons, Rick favored Burns and Allen reruns. When the Beatles were taking over America, Rick spun Bill Cosby and Allen Sherman records.
When Rick was a disk jockey in Syracuse, he first introduced the public to his menagerie of accents. He recorded voice over commercials for bug spray and wrote and produced a radio show called The World According to Myron Putchnick.
A couple of decades and a lot of laughs later, he's back on stage. From Zanies to The Comedy Store to anyone who will listen, Rick slings his sarcastic barbs and observations on the inane to make fun of everything stupid and everyone too serious about life

Feedback
- What can I say, other than WOW!
We booked Rick and his two pals for our fundraiser for the Boys and Girls Club, and they were absolutely phenomenal! I have heard absolutely nothing but positive from everyone involved, and was told by several people the night of the show that we need to do the event again (look for Comedy for a Cause part 2 sometime next year).
Rick was extremely easy to get ahold of, and was always just an email or phone call away. Anytime I had a question, he was there to answer it for me. If you're looking for a very affordable, VERY funny night of comedy, Rick March is your guy! -- Ben H, Wisconsin Rapids, WI, 3/28/2009
- We had originally hired Rick and when I called to confirm for
our X-mas party he told me he would be bringing 3 more
comedians. What a great surprise! They all did a wonderful
job and everyone had a great time. Thanks so much Rick and
I would recommend them to anyone. -- Charles S, La Porte, IN, 12/16/2006
- We received $5000 worth of entertainment for a $500 price. Well worth the money. The comedy show has been the talk of our campus ever since the event. Fantastic performers...would highly recommend!!! -- Patrick D, Lake Forest, IL, 5/2/2010
- Rick and Jeb performed very well. Event lasted about an hour which was just about right. I guess we were a little tight to begin with, but really loosened up when Rick took over. Jeb catered more to the youngster's(maybe a little over their heads) 20 somethings and Rick covered it all. Don't hire if you are easly offended or don't want to interact. They fit our type of crowd very well. Good job Thanks -- Mike W, Virginia, IL, 12/9/2006
- This review is really for the comedians Rick March sent. He did not come himself because he felt that a 50 something comedian would not be as good for an event for primarily teenagers as the comedians he sent, who were all in their twenties. We had an improvisational group come and they did a terrific job! Some parts were so funny I was laughing and crying at the same time. Rick is very accomodating with the acts he books. I highly recommend using him or his service for any comedy event within a reasonable vicinity of Chicago, IL. -- Wendy H, Rock Ilsand, IL, 5/13/2006
