Description

Marty Pollio is a versatile and hilarious comedian and variety act. His set includes fast paced, high energy physical comedy (choreographed to music) along with stand-up that is clean, funny and original. Marty's multiple appearances on the Tonight Show and recurring roles in popular network sitcoms top his list of national credits. He has also appeared in concert with the likes of Ray Charles, Herbie Hancock, B.B King, Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Garry Shandling and Jonathan Winters.

Marty has been a favorite of corporate and club audiences mostly because of his wacky mix of stage crafts. His dead pan stand-up style has been described by one reviewer as "goofy, with spot-on timing and facial expressions." Marty's inept magician character is a laugh riot and his closing piece - juggling to a Latin dance tune - is a high energy, feel-good fiasco!

Feedback

  • We had Marty Pollio perform for our medical staff social and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the show. It's sometimes difficult to keep the attention of the crowd, but he was able to engage them and keep them engaged throughout the show. Would highly recommend him for any event. -- Karen E, bloomington, IN, 5/12/2012
  • Marty is a multi-talented and outstanding entertainer. Our residents loved the variety in his act and were amazed at his high-energy physical comedy. The "inept magician" act was hilarious and his finale, juggling to a latin beat, was phenomenal! I definitely made a great choice in hiring Marty and would highly recommend him to any Event Planner looking for extraordinary entertainment! • Marty was fabulous! Our event is annual and after having him perform for us, I couldn't imagine searching elsewhere next year. There's lots of comedians out there, but Marty is an absolute headliner no matter who else is on the ticket. I now see why he was a repeat performer on The Tonight Show. A Real Class Act! Sincerely, Joe Craft -- Joe C, Terre Haute, IN, 12/31/2008
  • Marty was a true professional in every sense. The room was a difficult room with some audio and seating challenges but Marty being the true professional that he is made it a great event inspite of the challenges. His physical comedy was amazing and his jokes were delvired with great skill. I would highly recommend this entertainer for your next event. -- Benny S, Evansville, IN, 12/7/2008
  • He did a great job of working with the crowd. We had an unusual group. It was 350 people with only about 10 women and the rest men. Everyone truly enjoyed his performance. -- Cindy H, Lexington, KY, 5/14/2008
