"It is unfortunate that I was 5-10 minutes late (that's not my normal mode of operation), however communication was not as good it could have been, two out of three correspondence from the client listed the start time as one hour later than it turned out to be. It's on me that I missed the one correspondence with the correct time, however I kept with my policy of arriving approximately 1 hour early which mitigated any damage to the show. I'm very happy that it turned out well and that "many people really enjoyed" me. And yes, I did have a brain lapse and ask for a check even though I had been paid in full over a month previous. What a day! :)"
"I'm sorry that the client was disappointed that I performed some of the same material from my promotional clips. This is the first time I have had a complaint of this nature. My experience has been that the client wants to see some of the material that they based their hiring decision upon."
