A serious and dedicated DJ, DJ Nyce is a true music fan who is knowledgeable about all kinds of music from underground hip hop to eighties electronic music. Essential to any hard core party, club gig or upscale industry event, Nyce continues to have an undeniable impact on the music industry.
DJ Nyce is originally from Brooklyn, NY and has been spinning Hip-Hop, R&B and Reggae since 1990. He has played at clubs in Washington, DC, NYC, Ohio, Atlanta and Toronto including Love, H20, The Tunnel, Speed, RedZone, 112, Guvernment and Phoenix.
While attending The Ohio State University DJ Nyce dj'd most of the schools events which included all the fraternity and sorority events; including AKA, DST, SGR, APA and KAP. He was also the official dj for Denison University and dj'd many events at Wright State and Wilberforce.
DJ Nyce was also a resident at the Red Zone (Columbus) and played regularly at Mecca and Long Street live (Columbus).
DJ Nyce has opened up for various artists performing live in concert such as Jay-Z, 50 Cent and the Ruff Ryders. He also had a stint as a mixshow dj at Power 107.5 WCKX.
Currently, DJ Nyce spins at various clubs in DC, New York Tri-State area, Dallas and Atlanta as well as corporate and private events.
DJ Nyce's skill, ear for music and experience makes him one of sharpest dj's on the east coast, much less the country. And he knows he can make your next event a night to remember.

I after emailing and calling DJ NYCE we meet at Starbucks to review the playlist and setup for the wedding ceremony and reception. DJ NYCE put my mind at ease when he told me about his DJ history and some of the events he has done. He showed up early to our wedding and his setup was very quick. DJ NYCE played most of the songs we requested, got a feel for the guest and played music that everyone loved. I HIGHLY recommend DJ NYCE for your next event!

With the price paid ($550) and the fact that none of the music we painstakingly provided was played, that was a bit of a let down. We worked on a playlist and tracks we wanted played for a period of time, so it was disappointing to only get less than 10 of the tracks we requested.
The guests had a great time overall, the DJ can keep the crowd moving on a pre-packaged playlist. The DJ was on time, and played all night.
DJ Nyce:
The rate given to the client was extremely reasonable given the duration of the event. Also the booking was last minute and i was very accommodating given the prep time of less than 24 hours. The client wanted a wide range of east, west and south african music played throughout the night which i did. The music that was not played was supposed to be given to me prior to the event. I did not receive that music until 1 hour in to the event. I am sorry that the client feels this way about my performance, but her guests and the manager of the venue does not agree. I have received several inquiries and/or bookings from performing that night.Awards & Badges
