Renate McIntosh has her M.Ed. in Special Education. She is a licensed teacher in the state of Delaware. She is a character performer who usually performs as Snippy Doodles the Clown. She also has several other characters available. Snippy Doodles has been performing as a clown for 24 years. She is the Delaware State Director of the Mid-Atlantic Clown Association, and has been the State Director for several years. She has been re-elected for the 2017-2018 year. She has been on TV and radio - You can see her on 99.5 WJBR with a couple of her friends! Thank you, John and Charlie in the Morning! Snippy Doodles (clown), Doodles (magician), Jingle (Elf), Mrs. Holly Claus are available for: Corporate Events, Schools and Libraries, Churches, Fairs and festivals, Restaurants, Special Events, Parties, and Singing Telegrams... plus a lot more. Snippy Doodles, Jingles, and Doodles utilize magic, props, and balloons to create an engaging story that is both educational and entertaining. Mrs. Holly Claus has been performing her "Stories with a Little Magic" in schools and libraries. She tells stories using Elf magic, sings with the children and dresses them up in balloon creations. She also does home visits. Snippy Doodles is an award winning clown. She is insured through COAI. She has background checks though the Delaware school system, and various companies she works with. She is the family entertainer at the Hyatt in Dewey Beach where she performs every Sunday throughout the summer. What do you enjoy about the work you do? I enjoy being with people. I love the excitement with both children and adults. It's a challenging coming up with new shows (I'm already working on the new summer reading program for my library shows). Mrs. Claus is booked up for December and Snippy Doodles has a few events here and there that month, too. It's a crazy fun time of year. Mrs. Claus reads to the children, she's also a story teller. She knows how Santa gets into the homes without chimneys. She can tell you the story of how she met Santa.. and what she does while he's out delivering presents. She also does some Christmas magic and simple balloons. She loves to see the happiness on the children's faces.
