Diva, the daughter of an opera singer and Chicago entertainer Freddie Montell, began singing at age six. She studied in vocal performance at DePaul University and the American Conservatory of Music, with an emphasis in opera.Throughout the years she has sung with many Big Bands and Jazz Trios. Most recently she co-founded Diva's Crossing, which is an original band having a Jazzy Pop Mix of Adult Contemporary Music splashed with Soft Rock and Rhythm. She is the recipient of the 2011 Leonardo DaVinci Award for Performing Arts!

Diva also performs classical / opera duets with Jeroge Holmes. Jeorge's father was a professional singer and his mother could tear up the blues on the piano. The entire family has some type of gifts and passion for music. Jeorge was raised playing the piano and organ and would enjoy singing in the shower and his bedroom, thinking no one could hear him (but we know his parents sure could). His father made sure he listened to the best; Caruso, Lanza, Pavarotti, Sinatra, Bennett, Cole, Presley and many more. As early as eight years old, Jeorge would try to sing like great opera tenors and even travelled professionally, in his late teen years, as a top-rated Elvis Impersonator. He does tributes to Sinatra, Presley and Pavarotti as he shares his life stories of family, faith and God's grace in his life. He is willing to sing/entertain at any events, outreaches and settings that would fit Jeorge's personality and voice. Jeorge Holmes is also available as a solo artist.

Also available is Diva's band: Diva's Crossing. Their original sound is a Jazzy Pop Mix of Adult Contemporary Music mixed with Soft Rock and Rhythm. They also play cover music that complements their originals and gets their fans up on their feet.
