About
Yana Weaver is Russian Pianist, Composer and private teacher. Ms. Weaver was born in Tula, Russia (the place where Leo Tolstoy is from). She started playing piano when she was 5 years old. Ms. Yana attended the School of Arts in Russia for 9 years (1988-1997) and went on to graduate from prestigious College in Russia: Music College by M. Glinka (1997-2001). Yana Weaver won several composition awards during that time. In 2006 she graduated from Tula State Pedagogical University with distinction and in 2010 she got her PhD in Russian Philology.
In 2007 Yana immigrated to the USA and started her work as a private teacher.
In 2008 Yana Weaver moved to North Florida where she founded Music School: Wind of Change Academy. WOC Academy is a unique Music School combining the exclusivity of having a private teacher coming to your house with variety of instructors' choices and organization of Educational Institution: http://wocjax.com/
Yana is highly professional pianist who can play any written song in the history of music with a music score or by ear.
In 2007 Yana immigrated to the USA and started her work as a private teacher.

"Yana was an absolute delight to have performed at our wedding ceremony. Having played music myself back in my days of Middle and High school, I am used to classical songs being played in a certain style and she was everything we envisioned for our big day. She even invited us to her home to decide what kind of songs we'd like to hear, including jazz and modern songs, and was very accommodating to our needs. We even gave her sheet music for my wife's bridal march as it was something Yana had never played before and it was absolutely flawless and beautiful as if it were part of her normal repertoire. We would love to hire her again for our future events!"
