Description

Steve DeConti music. When I perform as a soloist I create parts with a recording loop pedal on the spot. This allows me to sound like more than one person or almost a full band. I play flute, guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and sing. I also play in duo, band and ensemble situations with the some of areas finest musicians. We play a variety of music. Jazz, latin, American songbook, R&B, folk, pop, rock, swing, reggae, blues, are all part of the mix. I also have a number of popular classical guitar and flute pieces that I perform for ceremonies. If you are looking for something a little different please give me a call. I am available for ceremonies, receptions, parties, house concerts, and a other events.

Feedback

  • Steve performed at our wedding New Year's eve this year at Castle Hill. We could not have been happier. He was awesome! My husband and I are still getting positive responses on "our music". Every single one of our guests loved him. He really did sound better than the actual singer who originally sang the song. He arrived extra early, (drove through a blizzard) just so we would not worry. We plan on following Steve so we can see him perform again. Kristen and Tom Maymon -- Kristen K, Newport, RI, 12/31/2008
  • The Steve Deconti band played at our wedding ceremony and reception. They are exceptional musicians. We worked together to pick songs that would work the best for the ceremony. In the end we had flute and keyboard. It was incredible. For the reception, the band learned to play the songs to our first and last dances. They sounded better than the original! They always kept the dance floor hopping and knew when to slow things down. They even accomodated us by playing for an extra 1/2 hour since the guests were still dancing. I recommend them to everyone. They are truly amazing. Book them today!!! -- Karyi C, Providence, RI, 6/10/2006
  • I found Steve to be a wonderful person as well as a very talented musician. He did everything he said he would and more. His choice of music was enjoyed by several generations. That goes a long way. I highly recommend Steve for anything that you need a musician for. -- Nicole N, Narragansett, RI, 6/3/2006
