The Murphy/Covatta Classical Duo is composed of
Myra Murphy, Piano and Chris Covatta, Guitar. We have
been playing for Ceremonies for several years and have
enjoyed great success with our clients. Our Repertoire is
extensive and can be used in many different places in
the Ceremony. Due to the fact that both performers
also play Jazz,Pop, Rock, Singer-Songwriter and many styles
of music, the Duo can offer not only a rich beautiful
sound but the ability to add other personal requests to a
Classical Ceremony. The sound is overall a richer experience
than strings. Myra Murphy holds a degree from Juilliard
School of Music in Choral Music and Chris Covatta is
a Guitarist/Composer who has gone to Berklee College of Music
and studied extensively. Both perform and record in many
different mediums.
