Marco de Carvalho

Classically trained, professional guitarist originally from Brazil. Styles includes classical, bossa nova, jazz, samba, MPB and choro music (both covers and originals). Primary instrument is the classical, nylon string guitar, but the electric jazz guitar is also an option. Marco plays solo or with a variety of ensembles which can include, flute, saxophone, clarinet, bass and drums, to name a few. Marco can provide a sound system or plug into a provided system.

Marco has extensive performing experience at all major Seattle area venues, including the Benaroya Hall and the Governor's mansion and Teatro Zinzanni. His sound can be soft (background) or very energetic depending on the customer's need.

• Marco performed solo guitar for my birthday party. He is a superb performer, as well as being professional and a good communicator. He was very accomodating, willing to fit his performance into my schedule, even though he had another gig later in the evening.
