Payam Larijani and Seth Greenberg met a little over 8 years ago as doctoral music students at Claremont Graduate University (located just 15 minutes east of downtown Los Angeles.) After getting together to play a few times, they realized that they had a magical combination of styles at their command.

They have been described by the UCLA Daily Bruin as "a classical and jazz based guitar duo that mixes their blues and rock mentality into everything they play."

The two both earned their doctorates in music and graduated from Claremont Graduate University, both with music scholarships.
They have been performing their classical/jazz duo repertoire which features a wide variety of music ranging from Baroque, Renaissance and Classical to Jazz, Blues, Latin, Classic Rock, and even some Top 40 Pop.

They have performed for a variety of special events including the "Milestone Dinner" for UCLA Chancellor Albert Carnesale, Background music UCLA Fundraisers for VIP guests including David Geffen, Mayor Villagrosa of Los Angeles. Other corporate events include performances for Sheffield Homes Company Dinner at Thronton Winery (Temecula), VIP Retirement Dinner for Vice Chancellor Donna Vredevroe of UCLA (at Royce Hall) and are current featured artists for the Powell Library Rotunda Series Concert beginning on February 28th, 2013.

The Larijani and Greenberg Guitar Duo are currently accepting booking requests for special events, weddings, concert recitals, and corporate functions.
