Description

David Abramsky - Cellist, Pianist, Composer. Presenting a delightful and entertaining musician for your wedding or special event. Classical, Broadway, Light Jazz, Popular, Seasonal, Originals, Golden Oldies & more!

Enjoy live cello music, whether it's solo cello for your ceremony or cello+piano for a more upbeat feel for your cocktails or background reception music. Your guests will delight to the ambience created by beautiful cello music.

Your event will benefit from the warm mood setup by either solo cello or cello with David's own piano settings of contemporary and classic melodies. David's 'Duet-of-One' is also unique and intriguing, thus helping to make your event quite memorable. (It's like getting two musicians for the price of one!)

David has a delightful personality and adapts his demeanour to suit your event. He is equally at ease playing the role of background musician, or charming your audience as the main entertainer. Always, David's sunny disposition shines through the evening's music.

David will work with you by phone, email or in person to help you select the music that fits your event dream. He will even learn new music if you desire a selection not in his extensive repertoire.

This is a very well rounded, professional entertainment package.

'Everything was tastefully and elegantly performed!'

He is an extremely professional person to work with. He's very talented and definitely added that extra touch at our wedding. He put everyone in the mood! I would definitely recommend him and/or hire him again! -- Stefanie R, Rutherford, CA, 1/15/2010

David was amazing! We wanted piano and cello for our wedding ceremony, but the location did not have a piano on site. David's duet setup was perfect. He even rearranged a song for the processional so it would sound better. Lots of guests kept telling me how nice the music was. When David finished playing, everyone applauded. Most importantly, I didn't have to worry about the music while I had a million other things on my mind; David had it all under control. I couldn't have asked for a better performer. -- Tina P, Sacramento, CA, 10/3/2009

Ok. Can I just say how perfect David was? He has a beautiful sound. He was SO easy to work with. He was willing to try anything, and really wanted to be in keeping with the "vision" we had for our day. We had him play solo cello for our ceremony and cocktail hour. When we were planning, he even took time out of a retreat he was on the help nail down some last details. And what a nice guy. He has such a big heart, you can tell. And that added to the specialness of our day because we knew he cared. -- Karin A, Calistoga, CA, 8/7/2009

Professional and talented - a joy to work with! -- Katherine G, San Francisco, CA, 6/6/2009

Duo Uno was amazing! Everyone loved David's music he added so much elegance to our wedding. The only thing I would have changed was to have him stay and play longer! Just Perfect! -- Layla G, Meadow Vista, CA, 2/14/2010 Wedding - Tahoe City, CA Sat. July 28, 2007

"When I was planning my July 2007 Lake Tahoe wedding, my goal was to create an atmosphere of 'simple elegance.'...David set the perfect tone." -- Cathy N., Oakland, CA 7/28/2007

To Whom It May Concern:

David Abramsky brought his joyful music to First Presbyterian Church in Petaluma for a concert in our “Fourth at First” vesper series. The program consists of a monthly event featuring a variety of musical styles, enhanced with a sampling of scripture and short session of prayer.

David played his cello, accompanied by a recording of himself playing piano. He took great joy in presenting the selections, and his smiling enthusiasm was contagious. Our audience loved every song, from arrangements of well-known hymns to the toe-tapping rhythms of Yiddish folk songs.

Not only is he obviously quite talented on both cello and piano, but his choice of music was perfect for our series. He did many, if not all, of the arranging himself, sometimes trading the lead between the two instruments.

David’s talents and music would also be appropriate for weddings and other sacred occasions, and could easily be incorporated into a church service. I highly recommend his program.

Sincerely, Patrecia Graham Music Director, First Presbyterian Church, Petaluma CA

To Whom it May Concern:

It was a pleasure to have Duo Uno as a guest during our recent Christmas banquet here at Calvary. David is charming, witty, and his abilities on both the piano and cello are superb! (Yes, he DOES manage to play them at the SAME time!)

Also, his ability to combine both the sacred and the secular aspects of the holiday season made for a thoroughly enjoyable evening, particularly as we had a number of guests in attendance.

His light-hearted, informal approach was not only winsome, but powerful! I would highly recommend David without any hesitation whatsoever. His ability to entertain is truly a gift!

Sincerely, Pat Murphy, Pastor Calvary Church, Ayr

  • Duo Uno - Cello & Piano Duet-of-One truly made our wedding special and memorable. Mr. Abramsky is a very talented musician. We gave him rather difficult pieces and he was familiar with them all. He also learned a special piece just for our wedding. Mr. Abramsky is professional and accomodating. I would score him off the charts if I could! Most of all, he is warm-hearted. It felt as if he was part of the family on our special day. -- Joshua R, Stateline, NV, 8/17/2007
