Where are you looking to hire a Classical Singer?
With origins beginning in about the year 1000, classical music has long been considered entertainment for those of "high culture." In earlier centuries, classical singers held a status similar to that of our modern-day rock stars. A talented classical vocalist today might not be mobbed when exiting a performance, but he or she would certainly still be in high demand. Unlike with other forms of music, a classical singer has a highly trained voice. While soloists who sing rock-and-roll or jazz rely primarily on natural talent, classical vocalists spend years under the direction of vocal coaches to develop a distinctive sound that is easily identifiable as a classical tone. Classical singers are excellent additions to black-tie affairs, holiday parties, church services, country-club events or studio sessions. From "Ave Maria" to selections from Handel's Messiah and modern favorites such as The Sound of Music's "Climb Every Mountain," classical vocalists add sophistication to any event.
