A versatile artist and musician, Alyssa's rich and expressive voice will add warmth and beauty to your affair. Her background in the opera, concert and recital stages, as well as her experience as a wedding soloist provided her with a diverse repertoire in which she can assist you in selecting the music that will best fit your occasion. Alyssa's training and musicianship also allows for her to comfortably work with various music directors and instrumentalists and to easily accommodate song requests which may not currently be in her repertoire.
Alyssa's work in sacred and religious music, from chant to present day, has provided her with the knowledge in choosing appropriate music for weddings, services and ceremonies of various religious denominations. Her expertise as a cantor for the Catholic mass, has given Alyssa a complete understanding of the liturgy and the required music and singing styles for the parts of the nuptial mass, wedding ceremony or funeral liturgy. She is currently a cantor and in-house wedding soloist for the historic, 18th century Philadelphia church, Old St. Mary's and St. John the Evangelist in Lambertville, NJ.
A lover and advocate of art song and chamber music, Alyssa plans and presents numerous musical programs for large and small private events. She is available for vocal recitals, concerts, parties and other special affairs, and can customize her programs according to your theme and preferences.

"Alyssa is incredible! She has a gorgeous voice that would please any opera afficionado and is so gracious and professional. She also really cares and works hard for her clients- my friend was getting married and she went out of her way for her singing outside in the middle of winter after a blizzard so that my friend could have her dream of an outdoor winter wedding. She also found her a great harpist through her connections. I would hire her again in ten seconds and I highly recommend her to anyone! "Alyssa has a very beautiful voice. Her performance during our wedding ceremony was outstanding, especially when she performed an amazing and very beautiful Schubert's Ave Maria.
Alyssa was very accomodating during the music selection process, giving us excellent recommendations and guidance on music choices. The selection process was very smooth and time efficient. She was easily accessible via email or a phone call away. She worked very well with the pianist at our church, making coordination arrangements simple and straight forward.

"Alyssa Staron is a talented professional. Her voice quality was beautiful. She was accommodating, pleasant and flexible.
She was extremely helpful in helping me to select songs for the occasion as well as providing English translations. We had a power outage in the middle of her performance but she she never missed a note and continued with the aid of a flashlight. "Alyssa sang at our wedding on May 21, 2010. She was great! While practicing before mass, my husband tells me our best man thought she was a recording. Alyssa has a beautiful voice.
She was easily accessible via email when I had questions and was willing to work with us on the music selections. She worked well with the organist at our church as well as with my husband's family members, who played trumpet/flute and viola for our ceremony.
