Alyssa Staron, Classical Singer

A versatile artist and musician, Alyssa's rich and expressive voice will add warmth and beauty to your affair. Her background in the opera, concert and recital stages, as well as her experience as a wedding soloist provided her with a diverse repertoire in which she can assist you in selecting the music that will best fit your occasion. Alyssa's training and musicianship also allows for her to comfortably work with various music directors and instrumentalists and to easily accommodate song requests which may not currently be in her repertoire.

Alyssa's work in sacred and religious music, from chant to present day, has provided her with the knowledge in choosing appropriate music for weddings, services and ceremonies of various religious denominations. Her expertise as a cantor for the Catholic mass, has given Alyssa a complete understanding of the liturgy and the required music and singing styles for the parts of the nuptial mass, wedding ceremony or funeral liturgy. She is currently a cantor and in-house wedding soloist for the historic, 18th century Philadelphia church, Old St. Mary's, and previously worked at the Cathedral Basilica of S.S. Peter and Paul.

A lover and advocate of art song and chamber music, Alyssa plans and presents numerous musical programs for large and small private events. She is available for vocal recitals, concerts, parties and other special affairs, and can customize her programs according to your theme and preferences.
