Soli Deo Gloria: Stephanie Krell

Stephanie Krell is a a talented freelance pianist, violinist, and vocalist from Middlesex County, NJ with over ten years of experience in playing and singing for weddings, funerals, church services, and ensemble events. She studied voice with a Westminster Choir College graduate in high school, and at age 16, she sang background vocals for Larnelle Harris at a concert in the Adirondacks. She was also a member of Indiana Wesleyan University's elite Chorale which travels nationally and around the world. She won the 2003 Marion Philharmonic Concerto Competition in Marion, IN and performed Bruch's Concerto in Gm with their orchestra. Later, Mrs. Krell graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Applied Violin from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2005. She was a substitute in the Muncie Symphony from 2004-2005.

Mrs. Krell has two hymns arrangements published by Light Of The World Music. She was the interim music minister at Georges Road Baptist Church from 2006 to 2007, accompanying the services on the piano and preparing special music each week for voice and piano or solo violin. In 2007, she released a self-titled CD of her own compositions under her maiden name, Stephanie Immordino, which is available for purchase on iTunes. That same year, she composed the background strings for Rainy Garay's album "One Precious Moment." She performed with Glen Burtnik (former band member of The Styx) in a Beatles tribute concert in 2008 at the State Theater in New Brunswick, NJ.

Stephanie Krell currently teaches music privately to kids in addition to gigging. She is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Music Teachers Guild. She also performs regularly with the New Brunswick Chamber Orchestra.
