Melodies of Love Classical Duo from New Lenox, IL

"Violin with guitar or piano* accompaniment for your special day." Melodies of Love is a group of experienced and dedicated musicians that enjoy playing for weddings and receptions. We play for wedding ceremonies and receptions. Classical, sacred music and love songs are our specialty. Additional instruments may be added at your request. We would be delighted to be a part of your special day! ~Our violinist, Emillie has been involved with music since she was 8 years old starting with the piano, before discovering her love for the violin a little later. She has had the privilege to use her violin playing to serve the Lord in church, for weddings, concerts, and play performances. Emillie became a registered Suzuki teacher at the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point and began teaching violin in 2006. She has been instructed in violin playing under Carl Johnston and Drostan Hall. ~The guitarist, Daniel is a very talented young man and has enjoyed playing the guitar for several years. He and his therapy dog are frequent visitors of an assisted living home nearby where Daniel participates in bringing beautiful music to the residents there. Daniel enjoys sharing his music with others whether it is for a wedding, playing for his church or to accompany a vocal or instrumental song. ~At the age of eight, our pianist Rebekah begged her Mother to allow her to begin piano lessons. Since that first lesson, nearly twelve years ago, her love for classical and romantic music has continued to grow. Rebekah currently enjoys using her talent as one of the primary pianists at her church. In the future she hopes to pursue collegiate musical training in anticipation of blessing a wider audience. *We will do indoor or outdoor weddings but we NEVER supply the piano. The venue must already have a piano/keyboard or there must be one provided. **We do not have our own sound and amp equipment (the guitar has a cord) so if sound is an issue we will need a mic or two for the violin and guitar. (Especially for outdoor events)
