Classically trained in Moscow's Gnessen School, and Brooklyn Conservatory under Kawasaki and Itzak Perlman, later with Anatole Wieck, Alexandra (Sascha) is a charming and talented musician who has a large teaching studio, plays First Violin with Bangor Symphony, and performs chamber music widely in Maine. All types of music possible, but prefers classical repertoire. Weddings, special functions, and private parties. Prefers to perform as a duet with other talented musicians she plays with. Travel range depends on the quality of the gig and payment arrangements. Sascha has played for many famous people and has had rave reviews always. (Some include American Idol Judge's (Kara) marriage, and Noel Paul Stookey's (Peter Paul and Mary) daughter's wedding. A musician of the highest order, trained in one of Russia's leading music schools (graduates include Katchaturian and Evgeny Kissen), and having a passion and heart for great music, Sascha and her colleagues will delight!

• Alexandra played at my father's committal service. Prior to the service, she and the chaplain had discussed and planned the details of the service. The burial plot is on a step slope and it rained lightly on the day of the service. While an umbrella was held over her Alexandra beautifully played several Bach violin pieces. Bach was my father's favorite composer. Alexandra's music touched the hearts of all who attended the service. I feel as though she understood my father's essence even though they never met.
