Members of the well renowned Alexander Trio are all classically-trained, professional musicians who live and perform in the San Francisco Bay Area. Founded by pianist and Steinway Artist, Gerri Alexander, she recognized the amazing talents of cellist, Patricia Meyer and violinist, Nori Tagawa and formed this exciting piano trio. The group recognizes the diverse musical requests of our culture and strives to make each of the booked events unique to their surroundings. Each of the members are frequently asked to join in orchestra performances in the Bay Area and adapt willingly to a multitude of musical styles. Additionally, they have performed and recorded many different styles of music at equally diverse venues including public performances, weddings, celebrations, ceremonies, corporate events, holiday and private recitals. The joy each artist takes in their musical training, history and experience flows naturally at each of their events and people always relish in an atmosphere of celebration. The members of the Alexander Piano Trio also perform as soloists, play in various ensembles and have rich histories in teaching all ages of students, each maintaining private studios. Gerri participates and performs in the Mozarteum program frequently in Salzburg, Austria. Gerri, Patricia and Nori are all experienced solo or duo performers and any request will be entertained.
