Professional, versatile, classic, & yet unique.... Jen Smith & her group(s) perform music by Bach, the Beatles, & even Coldplay. Jen can offer a quartet, trio, duo, or perform as a soloist. Since 2006, her group has performed well over 500 events including weddings, corporate events, universities, and private parties.

Jen & her group members are all full time orchestra teachers as well as freelance musicians within the Chicago area. In 1999 Jen earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from Illinois State University. In 2006, Jen received her Master's Degree in Music Education from VanderCook College of Music. Jen has an extensive performance resume' as she has performed with the Illinois Symphony Orchestra, Peoria Symphony Orchestra, Heartland Philharmonic, Wheaton Symphony Orchestra, West Suburban Chamber Orchestra & West Suburban Symphony Orchestra.

• We had the Jen Stedman Quartet perform at our wedding last summer. My husband and I are both performing classical musicians, and we were very glad to have a group that was so professional and accommodating. There was a tremendous wind storm the night before that knocked out all the electricity in the area including all traffic lights and power in the reception hall. They arrived early and played later than contracted since we didn't have power for the PA system to play recorded music.
