Natalie Cochran

Natalie Cochran is an accomplished soprano, performer, and musician. In 2008, she finished a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Performance at the University of Michigan, School of Music in Ann Arbor, MI and is currently working on her Masters Degree in Vocal Performance at Oakland University in Rochester, MI. Natalie has performed in operas both nationally and internationally. In the summer of 2008, she spent 6 weeks in Urbania, Italy performing with an intensive young opera program. Natalie's vocal range is extensive; her primary focus is opera, but as a ceremony singer, she has extended her range and loves singing popular music as well. Natalie has been singing in wedding ceremonies, memorial services, and patriotic occasions for over nine years, and therefore is quite familiar with all kinds of services and their musical needs. Her years of experience have also connected her with pianists, organists, flutists, and other musicians as well. When working with Natalie, she is able to recommend and provide accompanying musicians as needed (their fees would need to be paid as well). She loves singing because she loves adding beauty to a special day. Besides singing at numerous weddings and memorial services, she has also performed the national anthem for large crowds, including: Thunder Over Michigan Air Show, Detroit Pistons, Detroit Tigers, Fight Night at the Palace of Auburn Hills, Professional Bull Riding Tour (PBR), NCAA Wrestling Championships, Penn Women's Lacrosse, University of Michigan Lacrosse, and even a private luncheon with the President of the United States.

She also gives voice lessons and is currently accepting new students!

• Natalie was extremely professional and her follow-up skills were excellent, since our event was outdoors, she checked the weather and alerted me so we could come up with a alternative plan. She was very engaged in the entire process sharing ideas based off of her expertise, which was a great bonus. She was friendly and had an up-beat personality. She was very understanding and just went with it when things started to run behind, she even calmed me down. She was EXCELLENT and I would definately refer her to a family or friend!!
