Kathleen McAuliffe Harpist from Chatham, NJ

Hailing from a large Irish family, Kathleen McAuliffe is available to play a wide range of repertoire, including Irish favorites, jazz standards, pop and Broadway tunes, as well as classical repertoire, perfect for your weddings or parties. She is currently finishing her fourth year studying with Kathleen Bride at the Eastman School of Music (Rochester, NY) and has played extensively in the NY/NJ area as well as in the Rochester area as a soloist, orchestral harpist, and harpists for events ranging from elegant tea parties and weddings to fundraisers and social events. Kathleen was played with orchestras such as the Livingston Symphony, the Plainfield Symphony, the Eastman School Symphony Orchestra, and the Eastman Philharmonia, and last summer was a soloist with the Freelance Artist Ensemble Orchestra. She has also worked as both harpist for pits for musicals and operas and as a musical director for the Jerry Gibson Youth Memorial Theater (Florham Park, NJ) and Brightest Star's Summer Theater Camp (Morristown, NJ), working on shows such as "Into the Woods," "Seussical," and "The Wizard of Oz."
