About
Classical guitar performing in various situations from concert programs to lecture/performances to weddings and background music for corporate events and receptions. Repertoire is wide-ranging and diverse - Bach, Bossa nova, flamenco, Spanish, jazz, pop. Song arrangements can be made if necessary for the event. I also perform in ensembles with flute, violin, cello, voice and others. Over 20 years performing experience in New England. More info and audio samples at my website.
While my primary focus is as a classical guitarist, I also perform on electric and acoustic guitars as a pit orchestra musician and in various rock bands. Additionally, I find time to compose, arrange and record. I am a full time musician teaching and performing in Central CT.

"Tim was an absolute pleasure to work with!!! He was incredibly helpful at guiding us through selecting the music for our wedding and was creative enough to throw in some great additions to suite our special readings. He was a BIG hit with our guests! We had Tim join us for an hour before the ceremony to play during cocktail hour, really set the mood and provided a warm, happy welcome. Tim arrived on time, dressed up to the nines, and was really just a genuine and wonderful addition to our day. I would highly reccomend him to any bride and groom who are looking for a very talented and kind musician! "

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Tim Maynard, for the beautiful music he and Celeste (the cellist) provided for my sister's ceremony. We received so many compliments on the music selections and their sound really filled the space beautifully! We also had non-traditional music for our ceremony and Tim showed is flexibility in being able to accommodate that request. Also both an unexpected change in the order people came in that we did not get to convey to him before it happened and an unplanned relocation to a different spot after the ceremony both were handled quite smoothly without us even being aware it happened enabling us to focus on our guests and each other.
