Jesse Vernier began formal music studies at the University of Idaho where he studied with guitarist and cellist Howard Jones and with further studies is Salt Lake City with jazz great Lee Robinson Mr. Vernier has also participated in master classes with many of the legendary virtuosi of our time including Pepe Romero, Julian Bream and Johnny Smith. Mr. Vernier is founder of both the Sierra Nevada and the Auburn Camerata chamber ensembles. He has performed as a solo recitalist, chamber musician and accompanist throughout the western states. In addition to touring with soprano Michelle Coder, he has played a series of concerts with the internationally acclaimed Harrington String Quartet. Mr. Vernier has been a guitar soloist with the Auburn Symphony performing Joaquin Rodrigo's " Concierto de Aranjuez" and gave a highly praised performance of Castelnuovo-Tedesco's "D Major Concerto" with the Paradise Symphony. Mr. Vernier has also performed in a series of concerts with Hollywood recording artist, woodwind virtuoso Steve Fowler. Mr. Vernier has also made several appearances on PBS television. Programs may include virtually all of the popular wedding related favorites. A program could be based solely on any of the last 4 centuries. Christmas music is one of Mr. Vernier's strongest repertoires. He plays most of the famous carols and accompaniments in virtuoso arrangements.
