About
A native of Ridgefield, Connecticut, classical guitarist Christopher Wyton holds a Bachelors of Music Performance degree from Western Connecticut State University and a Masters of Music Performance degree from Shenandoah Conservatory. Wyton has also studied at the Mannes School of Music in New York City.
With 10 years of solo, as well as chamber and ensemble playing experience, Wyton's repertoire ranges from Bach to the Beatles, with classical music receiving most of his attention. He has performed extensively at venues throughout the Northeast including St. Paul's Chapel and St. Peter's Church in New York City. In addition to his studies and his performance interests, he has been teaching guitar students for over eight years. Wyton is currently teaching at studios in Ashburn, Berryville, and Winchester Virginia.

"We hired Chris several weeks before our wedding after deciding we wanted live music for our ceremony. We coordinated everything through email - he was always very prompt to respond and the day of the wedding went off without a hitch. It was HOT and Chris was a trooper, showing up early and playing before the guests even ventured outside to the ceremony site. He did a wonderful job and we received many compliments on his beautiful rendition of "Here Comes the Sun" as the bride's entrance. My only regret is we did not have the opportunity to thank him in person. We very much appreciate his professionalism and talent!"
