All purpose violinist Josie Quick is looking forward to performing beautiful violin music for your special event. Weddings, parties, open houses, grand openings, live music adds flair to any event! Josie performs as a soloist, with the Frontera String Quartet, or with guitarist Tom Carleno.
Josie holds a Bachelor's of Music from the prestigious Denver University's Lamont School of Music where she studied violin performance. After college she continued studying with world renowned violinists, honing her craft. She is known for her beautiful tone and joy of playing which bring smiles to all who hear her repertoire of classical favorites, vintage jazz, gypsy and fiddle music. She is a well known studio musician, appearing on many recording projects of numerous Colorado artists.
Josie is up for anything, with two week's notice she's willing to put together a program of gypsy, irish, love songs, whatever you have in mind! She even did an evening of spooky music for Halloween!
In addition to solo (strolling) violin, Josie leads the Frontera String Quartet. Together since 1994, they have provided music for hundreds of weddings as well as provided music for corporate events. Our clients say it best:

- My parents just reached 50 years of marriage. My brother and I wanted to do something special to recognize them for this achievement. We did the gift, the limo, the private dining room, but the icing on the cake was the musician!
Josie was very accomodating with the date and time we desired. We felt that the rate was very reasonable. She kept in contact up to the date of the celebration. She was on time for her set. And she followed up with me after the set.
