Feedback

  • J. V. Hudson performed at a memorial service for my father. His responses to my e-mails were immediate. His suggestions were very thoughtful, and he was very flexible in accommodating to our needs. He arrived at the service earlier than stated, and indicated he had driven by the location the day before to make sure he knew the way. Prior to the service, he asked if I had time to talk a little about by father. He showed a strong desire to participate fully in the ceremony. He performed beautifully, and stayed afterwards to talk with the guests. Several people came up to me afterwards and told me how much they enjoyed listening to him and talking with him. I would definitely hire J.V. again for an event--and if the ocassion happened to be out of the Triangle area, I would pay for his travel! -- Barbara R, Chapel Hill, NC, 4/21/2007
  • J.V. Hudson was wonderful. He arrived ahead of the requested time, gladly added another song to his performance on the spot, played beautifully, and was friendly and cordial. I would have no problem recommending him. -- Maggie J, Chapel Hill, NC, 5/19/2007
  • He was great! The kids loved hearing the bagpipe music. The director of the child care center was so impressed, she's trying to think of another reason to invite him back! -- Jill A, Raleigh, NC, 6/28/2007
  • J.V. was a lovely addition to our wedding ceremony. We had several people who attended who are let's just say very aware of what good pipes are and they were all extremely pleased. My husband and I were as well and we'd hire him again in a heartbeat. J.V. was our sole musician for the ceremony and he had great suggestions. He got back to me right away which is sort of needed when you're having to prepare and take care of endless details for an event. Thank you J.V. for your professionalism and experience! -- Denise A, Chapel Hill, NC, 10/8/2011
  • Mr. Hudson was prompt, thoughtful and thoroughly professional. The family was deeply grateful for his services. -- Bob D, Chapel Hill, NC, 12/28/2011
  • He was great -- Pat M, Wilmington, NC, 4/28/2012
