DESCRIPTION:
I specialize in Irish fiddle music from spirited jigs and reels to beautiful slow airs. I perform both as an instrumental duo (fiddle/guitar) and also with my five-piece Irish band (Cady Finlayson Band). We are polished professionals and enjoy tailoring our music to fit your event whether it's a private party, concert or festival.
My performing experience includes playing for festivals, concerts, private parties and recordings. Places I have performed include the Jacob Javits Center, Carnegie Hall, Brooklyn Museum of Art, Hofstra University Irish Festival, Cleveland's State Theatre, Slainte Irish Festival and New York's Town Hall.
I also have three CD's of Irish fiddle music (Irish Coffee, Harp and Shamrock, and Shines Like Silver).
