Description
Steve is a professional, classically trained cellist native to the Appalachian mountains of South-East-Western North Carolina . He plays various instruments with several different ensembles including guitar for a Bluegrass band {THE LOCAL BOYS}, Bass player for a classic rock group {TIDAL}, and cellist in a String Quartet {STRING HYSTERIA} . He can perform as a solo cellist, or with his trio/quartet.

- Steve Holman and his two accompanying string players were nothing short of magic. Steve and I had been talking and planning things half a year out from the wedding, and Steve was incredibly accommodating the entire time to all of the changes that I made along the way. He stayed in communication with me, and offered plenty of suggestions and made every piece of music special.
I honestly can't say enough about Steve. I would never in a million years use anyone else. His level of professionalism and friendliness is only rivaled by his talent. Thank you Steve for giving my wife Jamie and me a day we will never forget!

- He personally came over to talk to us during the reception, as we never got to see or meet the team. He even came over and played our special song, which was played already at the church. We were rushed out of the service by people " moving us along". Him doing that, made my wife very happy, and to me, thats all that matters.
I would hire him anytime I need a cello and violin!

- I hired Mr. Holman for a 2 hr cello recording session. I couldn't be more pleased with his professional demeanor and performance. He showed up early with his instrument already tuned along with extra equipment just in case. Without previously hearing the tune, he mastered it and was ready to record in less than an hr. This really sealed the deal for me, because I was paying for studio time by the min. He completed his track in 2 takes and made sure that I was completely satisfied before packing up. If you are interested in hiring a very talented/professional musician for any reason, I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Steve Holman.
