Atomic Cupcake Caricatures Caricaturist from Baltimore, MD

As a lifelong artist, I have worked to create a career that includes the best of both worlds- a job that I love, and one that allows me to support my family. I have been working as a caricature artist for a little over 5 years now, traveling to events such as festivals/fairs, weddings, birthday parties, holidays, religious celebrations and school events. I bring with me a background in Fine Arts, so my caricatures tend to lean more towards fun, whimsical, flattering cartoon style portraits-these always seem to be a hit at parties. For most parties, I stick with a black and grey caricature, with accent colors, unless my client requests full color. Full color takes a few minutes longer to complete, so generally I reserve those for smaller, more intimate events. If needed, I am able to bring another artist with me, so that we are able to handle a larger volume of guests. This does increase the hourly rate, though. I work with marker and colored pencil, and provide each guest with a plastic sleeve to keep their drawing safe and protected. I do take requests for themes, as well as individual commissioned caricatures for gifts, as well.
