Born and Raised in the Virgin Islands this authentic entertainer will definitely make your destination dreams come alive. Mello Vibes is no stranger to the steel drum!!!! With a family of Trinidad and Tobago and and Raised in the Caribbean steel drums and Reggae has been a part of his culture from birth.

Mello's steel drum, the lead instrument in his group, is backed by two (2) other talented musicians forming the band (if needed). From your traditional ceremony, Here Comes the Bride and Recessional March, followed by free flowing steel drum music on your cocktail hour or on to an all out Caribbean party for your reception or Caribbean theme event, Mello Vibes will compliment.

Mello originally began and still performs as a solo steel drum artist/one man band, who can perform instrumentally as your ambiance. In addition, he can add vocals to the performance for your "Caribbean Party Crowd".

Over the past few years he has acquired two (2) very talented musicians that complete the Caribbean duo/trio cover band, whose instruments are guitar and/or percussion.

Local venues where they have andstill perform include, Bahama Breeze Restaurant on a weekly basis, The Don Caesar Hotel, The Florida Aquarium, several 5 Star Cruise liners, former Tampa Mayor Dick Greco and General Tommy Franks at Macdill Air Force Base, local hotels and restaurants (too many to name at present) and local charity events for the sick and underprivileged in Florida and throughout the Virgin Islands. The most recent accomplishment for Mello Vibes being the second place prize in the 2006 Tampa Bay Idol Talent Competition; The release of his debut album "Feelin' The Vibes" which is available on and currently working on his second album taking his instrument on a voyage, serenading the listeners with its unique sound.

Their selection of music consists of Calypso, Reggae, Soft Rock, and R&B. Including but not limited to songs such as: Margaritaville, Red Red Wine, Stir It Up, and Breezin."

Apart from a live performance, entertainment includes everything else you would need from a DJ, such as a full PA system, announcements, Caribbean music while band members are on break, first dance, cutting of the cake and any other pre-recorded cds for a specific moment.
