From The Mid Atlantic region comes Cort Farris and The Fe Band, a ground breaking ensemble featuring steel drums. The name itself is pronounced Fee which represents the chemical symbol for Iron. The bands musical goal is to expand the music into a creative combination of styles and sounds which are achieved with every performance. The island vibe blends with Calypso, Caribbean, Reggae, Latin Jazz and other influences, creating a truly memorable blend of musical variety says Scott Cronick of the Atlantic City press. If you're not moving at one of these shows you must be dead. Fe resides in The NJ area over the Summer and In Florida over the winter. They will play anywhere in between as well.

The band plays venues all over the east coast from Beach Bars to Weddings, private parties and festivals. Their extensive repertoire can be tailored to fit any situation. Fe is also available as a steel drum and percussion solo, duo, or trio for smaller or quieter settings.
