David Meulemans

I am a singer/actor in South Florida, with a cabaret show that tours on the condo and country club circuit between Miami and West Palm Beach at this time. The music I prefer to perform is from Broadway, standards, and covers of great music from contemporary musicians like Josh Groban, Andrea Bocelli and others. The music I choose comes from as far back as tin pan alley (the Gershwins) as well as the music of today. .

The show is a simple one, me, a microphone, and some of the most beautiful music in the world. I sing the songs that touch people's hearts, whether they are from Broadway, Pop, Standards, etc. My goal with each performance is to bring back some cherished memories, maybe a laugh or two, maybe even a tear, in a good kind of way, and to leave the audience feeling uplifted and entertained when it is all over with. The feedback I get is always positive, people have a good time,. enjoy the song selection and the delivery. I tend to bond with my audience, which I enjoy, it makes the performance something special.

My background includes a conservatory education with major in vocal music performance, combined with over 30 years of experience on stage in productions ranging from drama, musical theatre, panto, opera, oratorio, and concert settings. I've performed with several opera companies as well as regional, local, and community theatres.

I've toured, worked on Broadway showcases, and have performed at all the major venues in South Florida. My cabaret show has been out touring the South Florida tri-county area (Palm Beach, Broward, Miami Dade counties) for two years now. I'm hoping to expand the area in which I peform to an international level.
