Brazilian native, Danny Aguiar, is the founder and band leader of Canta BRASIL. His band brings out the rhythm and passionate sounds of Brazilian jazz fusion. The band performs popular tunes of Brazilian composers (i.e. Djavan, Chico Pinheiro, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, and Sergio Mendes) along with American composers like George Duke and Chick Corea whose songs have a distinctive Brazilian beat. In addition, the band plays Danny's original compositions which are a part of his 2012 CD, Fim do Ciclo (translation: End of Cycle).
