We are a brass ensemble, available as a quartet (2 trumpets, 2 trombones) or quintet (2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 1 french horn) for weddings and other ceremonies and events. All members are local performers and professional musicians with extensive performing experience. Pricing is based on distance, time required, and number of performers requested. We perform music from a variety of styles and time periods. If we have enough advanced notice, we can do almost anything you want! We look forward to playing for your next event and working to make your special day even more memorable!

We had an unusual request for the DC Brass Ensemble. We wanted them to lead a parade from our wedding ceremony site to our wedding reception site for a three block wedding parade. The DC Brass Ensemble rocked it! They played upbeat, fun music to get the energy going. They also performed our processional after we were announced Mr. and Mrs. They were super easy to work with, arrived on time, were professional, and did an all around fantastic job. Couldn't recommend them more highly--awesome job! They helped make our wedding day super memorable and our wedding guests absolutely loved it. Huge thanks to the DC Brass Ensemble!

I was very happy with the ensemble. Next year when I hire them back I would prefer to hear more variety in the prelude music. With the exception of a special request it seemed that the same 2-3 selections were repeated too often. I'd like to have a wider repertoire in the future.

We had a fantastic experience working with DC Brass. They wrote arrangements for a couple of special songs and were very accommodating in all of our requests. It was clear that performing is more than just a job for them, they really enjoyed it and are passionate about music. They are an incredible value. I would recommend them to a friend and anyone looking for a great group for a wedding or other celebration.
