Amira World Dance Artist

Amira is an accomplished World Dance Artist, specializing in the Bollywood dances of India. For your special event, Amira can bring you exciting and dazzling Bollywood dance numbers straight from the movies with new and old hits. Originally from Connecticut and of Irish-Lithuanian heritage, she is an experienced performer and teacher, having taught many dance workshops nationally and internationally since 2003 including Ghawazee dance, Bellydance, Bollywood, Bhangra, and her own creations of innovative world dance fusion. Amira also performs bellydance for corporate events at Disney and is a frequent Bollywood soloist at special events at the Tampa Indian Cultural Center. Since 2003 she has worked as a professional soloist appearing regularly at Arabian Nights Dinner Show in Orlando, Universal Studios Orlando and numerous Greek and Middle Eastern restaurants in Florida. She has performed at many individual event bookings of all types and sizes ranging from Indian baby showers and mehndi parties to Arabic wedding receptions and various charity fundraisers.
