Walking In Tradition is known for their tremendous personality, southern charm, good humor, and highly entertaining stage show.
Bluegrass music is a true American artform and most would agree that it was officially given birth in 1946. As with many art-forms, the founders or pioneers leave the deepest, most memorable impressions.
Walking In Tradition is an ensemble of artists who are passionate about performing and preserving this wonderful art-form. Our emphasis is on material from the late 40's through the early 60's that was performed or recorded by many of our music's early pioneers. The traditions and sounds formulated many years ago inspired our name as we walk in the traditions established by our music's founders.
Our objective is to share this traditional music with as many as
possible at festivals, county fairs, civic functions, private events,
weddings, and church gatherings.
