Description
We are a traditional "hard driving" band performing standards people know, and some that may be new to some less "seasoned" ears. We also have original material that also falls in the traditional realm. Bluegrass Gospel is usually mixed into our sets with fine duo, 3-part or quartet harmonies. All five members of The East Dixie Boys are excellent musicians, and strive for perfection with every performance.
The East Dixie Boys are carrying more than 100 years combined experience in bluegrass, from various bands in the past to infuse their own brand of tight, hard-driving bluegrass...just like pioneers like Jimmy Martin, Bill Monroe, and Flatt & Scruggs intended it to be.

Feedback
- The East Dixie Boys played for an engagement party we threw for our friends and they were fantastic! Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the music and couldn't believe we could get such a great band for such a great price. The music was upbeat, the band was extremely friendly, and their talent was quite apparent - both their instrument playing and their vocals. We loved the East Dixie Boys and will use them again for sure! -- Carson G, Atlanta, GA, 7/31/2010
- The East Dixie Boys went over and beyond my expectations. They are not only talented, but professional, fun and simply great musicians. I hired them for a corporate event, and they were perfect "background" music, but I can tell they could definitely get the crowd going if your event calls for it. I would recommend this band 100%. In addition, compared to other bands I have worked with in the past, during the correspondence before the actual event, they are very easy to get a hold of, respond quickly to emails, and are very professional "business men." Do yourself a favor and higher them! -- Stehanie V, Atlanta, GA, 9/12/2010
- The East Dixie Boys performed for my birthday party in my backyard. They were incredible! They arrived early to set up and engaged the crowd throughout the night. They even made the birthday girl feel special! A great group of men with unbelievable talent. This just might become an annual present to myself! -- Heather E, Smyrna, GA, 8/12/2011
- Professional, engaging fun and talented. Love them would use them again -- Teresa J, Kennesaw, GA, 3/8/2012
