Description
Joe Bob and Jim Bob are the Bob Brothers and they are the Buzzard Mountain Boys. These two guys play an amusing selection of Brother Duet, Bluegrass and Old-Time music, interspersed with enough corny humor to warm your heart and take you back to the days of the traveling minstrels! Both musicians are fixtures in the traditional music community and heavily involved in the promotion of Appalachian Music. Joe is an accomplished mandolin, guitar, tenor-banjo, and claw hammer banjo player. His Monroe style mandolin breaks and fiery banjo strumming will set your toes to tapping. Jim plays a lively fiddle, old-time tenor guitar, and sets the rhythm with his solid six-string guitar work. Brother duet harmony is the Buzzard Mountain Boys' forte and takes you back to the roots of bluegrass and rockabilly. A sprinkling of good-natured humor peppers their performances. The Buzzard Mountain Boys perform for festivals, private parties, corporate events, company picnics, political rallies, birthdays, anniversaries, grand openings, grand closings, bankruptcies, funerals, hog killings, hangings, and mountain weddings. This brother duet can be expanded to include any number of other musicians to accommodate your specific needs.
Available For:
Anniversaries, Bachelor Parties, Bachelorette Parties, Banquets, Birthday Parties, Children's Birthday Parties, Celebrations, Christenings, Christmas Parties, Church Services, Clubs, Community Events, Conventions, Corporate Functions, Dinner Dances, Festivals, Fund Raisers, Funerals, Graduation Parties, Grand Openings, Picnic, Private Parties, Proms, Restaurants, Reunions, Sweet 16 Parties, Weddings, Wedding Ceremonies, Wedding Cocktail Hours, Wedding Receptions...and more.
Feedback
- The talent was great, the flexibility was superb and the frienliness was wonderful. I hope to work with these gentlemen again. -- Kathy B, Easley, SC, 12/11/2011
- The Buzzard Mountain Boys were gracious entertainers at our recent church-wide event, which included all ages. They provided a fun-filled concert, engaged the congregation, and brought laughter with their wonderful sense of humor and great music. They are very fine musicians and entertainers. -- Rev. Charlotte B, Chattanooga, TN, 8/10/2011
- I absolutely recommend the Buzzard Mountain Boys for wedding music or any other event. They were extremely professional, extremely personable, and they play great music. I couldn't have asked for more.
They clearly communicated all needs and expectations and responded promptly to emails. They showed up early for the event fully prepared and fulfilled every part of the quoted contract and more. They even worked up a song specifically per our request and did marvelously. We got many comments about how great the music was, and we had a great time. -- Dane B, Maryville, TN, 5/28/2011
- Buzzard Mountain Boys performed the ceremony music at my outdoor fall wedding. They were absolutely wonderful, and I have gotten nothing but rave review from my guests. They played a combination of bluegrass and traditional wedding music and could not have done a better job creating the atmosphere I was looking for. They were extremely responsive to emails and flexible with everything. I would highly recommend them for a wedding or any other event! -- Kristen B, Dahlonega, GA, 10/23/2010
