The Jump City Jazz Orchestra is a dynamic big band orchestra comprised of eighteen of the Delaware Valley's finest musicians and vocalists. With our authentic big band sound, the Jump City Jazz Orchestra has delighted audiences at concerts, dances, weddings and corporate events with its entertaining and exciting performances of the 20th Century's greatest music since its founding in 1994.

Whether you prefer big band swing, torchy standards, Latin, classic rock, Motown, or special requests, JCJO faithfully recreates the magic and excitement of over sixty years of big band, swing & party music.

Our roots take us back to the traditional big band sounds of the World War II-era bands like Glenn Miller and Woody Herman.

Our development expands our horizons through the concert pieces popularized by the Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Buddy Rich and Stan Kenton Orchestras.

Our energy brings us to the modern-day jump swing sound of the Brian Setzer Orchestra and Big Bad Voodoo Daddy as well as the R&B grooves of Aretha Franklin, Blood Sweat & Tears and Ray Charles..

Our style leads us to the vocal classics of the Rat Pack, Ella Fitzgerald, Doris Day, and Louis Prima.

• Looking a a fantastic big band? If so, this is the band. The band was quite flexible in accomodating our wedding reception schedule. You can't beat the sound of this band.
