DESCRIPTION:
We are a 17-piece Big Band with a fabulous female vocalist. We play the tunes made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Peggy Lee, Nat and Natalie Cole, Etta James, Helen O'Connell, and of course, Frank Sinatra. If you like the classic big band hits from the swing era, the beautiful ballads, the bossa nova, and the standards which have stood the test of time, you'll like the Cigar City Big Band. With us, everything you hear is LIVE! There are no canned tracks or sequences. Our five saxes, four trumpets, four trombones, piano, drums, and bass are working hard to back our singer and it shows!
