Named Review Magazine's "Best Big Band" in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2012...and winners of the 2010 Freeland Freedom Festival Battle of the Bands, The Baytones are dedicated to the performance of the great big band standards as well as neo-swing and jazz. They are the "real deal," a 18-piece orchestra that specializes in bringing to life the style and sound of big band music for 21st century audiences.
In February 2012, The Baytones added vocalist Kristine Goodwin.
Mid-Michigan's most requested big band plays the best of Glenn Miller, Count Basie, Maynard Ferguson, Bob Mintzer, Brian Setzer, and others.
The Baytones are a collection of experienced and accomplished performers that play the best of Big Band Jazz. The band has three professional arrangers as members, so if you need a special song we can do it for you.
