"We host a reception each year at our annual conference & for 2011 it fell on Fat Tuesday so we opted for a Mardi Gras theme. We normally use a DJ but felt a Dixieland band would be more appropriate. I’ve never hired a band before & am not familiar with this genre. I spoke to many bands but thought HotsyTotsy (aka Main Street Swing Band) may represent the theme the best & was assured that they are a true Dixieland band. After working through the logistics, they arrived in plenty of time to set up and do a sound check. The end result was a great band with great music & talent that really helped make the party a great hit. I would highly recommend this group. "
